My retired, 28-year Alameda County Sheriff’s Department dad was so pleased with his patch with customized badge number. As he gets on in years (still only 72), the memories of his glory days, his proudest days, are things he clings to more and more tightly. It was a hard job, but one he showed up to every single day ready to protect and serve. Thank you for helping me commemorate his experience in such a thoughtful and special way.
